2011 was Museveni’s worst year in power- opposition leaders say

Kenyans warned of Al-Shabaab adherents who have infiltrated country on New Year’s Eve

By Collins Wanzala in Nairobi, Kenya As Kenyans get ready to usher in the New Year, the Kenyan Police force has today (Saturday December 31st) released pictures of 15 people it believes are Al-Shabaab adherents who may have infiltrated the country. Police spokesman Eric Kiraithe says the suspects who include nine Kenyans, two Asians and four Somalis aged between 24 to 32 years entered Kenya from Kismayu and urged   Kenyans to report their whereabouts to the police. AMISOM again claims victory over Al-Shabaab in Mogadishu

From Collins Wanzala in Nairobi African Union forces battling Al-Shabaab have announced a major success in Somalia after they pushed the Islamic militant group Al-Shabaab out of the capital Mogadishu.
