Just who exactly employs President Museveni?

Yoweri Museveni holds the Holy Bible to take the oath of office in which he swore to be 'faithful and bear true allegiance to the Republic of Uganda' and 'to preserve, protect and defend the constitution' after being voted into office for the fifth time by Ugandans who he has told he is no longer and has never been their servant.

While the rambling speech made some sense to many Ugandans the majority of whom live in dire poverty and can barely afford to send their children to quality schools, his comments about not being anyone’s employee or servant could be used to great effectiveness by the opposition during the next general election due in 2021. Many opposition politicians wondered whether he has become ‘drunk with power’ and the fact he came to power through the forceful use of arms could have made him believe he does not owe his position to any of his countrymen.

Dear Editor. Much as you refer or allude or re-represent a statement of a ‘Constitution’ and ‘Constitutional Rule'; well according to a seminal catch all statement of Gen Amos, ‘….i am not interested in these things, but if you are you can have them…’ I am suggesting here, there is no Constitutional governance in your Uganda. So it is not a surprise that Gen Amos makes/made that statement. It appears Gen Amos’s appeasers want to read and hear ‘N-constitution’, ‘R-constitution’, ‘A-constitution'; even if the practice suggests otherwise. May be its helpful to continue ‘okwebaka o’tulllo’ (interpret: ‘…sleep well at night and dream of Amos…’).
