Reports reaching us from the Ugandan capital Kampala say President Yoweri Museveni has embarked on a devastating plan to silence what he believes is an impending major revolution against his regime by empowering the police to form killer squads that would mostly target Ugandan youth who he believes are leading the attempts to bring him down.

An anonymous whistle-blower has circulated a copy of a memo he said was part of a discussion between Ugandan police chief Gen Kale Kayihura and trusted security officials who he empowered to go against certain youths in and around Kampala the government believes are the major trouble makers. The whistle-blower, believed to be a disgruntled police officer, said he was forced to reveal the Museveni plans after a police officer was deliberately murdered by Kayihura’s forces to create an excuse for the establishment of a police killer squad that has been given the powers to shoot and kill people it says are highway robbers but who may actually be dissidents who are part of a growing number of people who are signing up to a massive revolution to bring to an end Museveni’s 27 years in power.

So, the infamous Uganda State Research Bureau is back in the works. It is a shame and pretty sad that Museveni has killed and continues to kill Ugandans for this long. This man started killing Ugandans in the 1970s and that is 40 years! When will this end? And all this killing is being done to keep one insane man in power.

I hope people are keeping records of the officers involved either from the photos taken or physically witnessing them carrying out these human rights abuses. It is now well established following the Nuremberg trials that obeying an order that is patently illegal is no defence to a criminal charge. So officers beware, blind obedience to these orders may be “the rope that is used to hang you”. Also an unintended consequence may be that your evil acts are visited on your families by the victims in vengence! You have been warned.

Folks, Joseph reminds me of Tarik Aziz Saddam’s former Minister of Information who was in denial up to the day he was hanged that Saddam was still in power.

It’s ok to call leaders names but we are rather uneasy to start allowing readers to call each other names. That’s why we have blanked out most of your comment. Editorial Team.

This report was generated by propagandists who have selfish interests that we can not allow here. Ugandan are enjoying peace everywhere today including in the North where Kony terrorists had caused sufferings for ~2 decades! Amongst over 35 million Ugandans, there are hooligans whose primary objective is to cause misery to the majority innocent of the citizens, they will always be dealt with appropriately. Propaganda is a good tool for achieving such selfish interests, even the best 4 star Generals use it to win difficult wars but when the truth is discovered, those behind will be exposed and shamed!
