Girls in their hundreds are being ‘converted’ into boys in Indore – India every year at ages where they cannot give their consent for this life-changing operation. This shocking, unprecedented trend, catering to the fetish for a son, is unfolding at conservative Indore’s well-known clinics and hospitals on children who are 1-5 years old. The process being used to ‘produce’ a male child from a female is known as genitoplasty. Each surgery costs Rs 1.5 lakh. Revealed: Secret Washington and London attempts to derail Pakistani nuclear weapons plan

The United States and Great Britain undertook a secret diplomatic campaign in the late 1970s to prevent a major nuclear proliferation threat — Pakistan’s attempted covert purchasing of “grey area” technology for its nuclear weapons program — according to recently declassified “NODIS” (no distribution) State department telegrams published today by the National Security Archive. Sri Lankans in London protest as reconciliation gets harder

Sri Lankan President Rajapaksa faces questions over his forces violation of human rights during the war with the LTTE.

By Our Correspondent A massive protest was held by Sri Lankans just in front of TV Chanel 4, this week (17th July) to express their anger about the programme, ‘Sri Lanka’s Killing Fields’. It was presented by Chanel 4’s most popular and well known presenter Jon Snow on the 14th June (last month) at 11.00 pm. The documentary contained very disturbing images and video footages about the final stages of the war (2009) that defeated the separatists Liberation Tigers of Tamil Elam (LTTE).
