China warned to expect revenge over the execution of Ugandans

The threat has been made by six Ugandan legislators under their umbrella organization, the Buganda Caucus. They also demanded that the newly-elected United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) President Sam Kutesa take on the issue as a matter of importance, so that Ugandans can know his significance in international relations. “We now urge the UNGA President to immediately intervene in this matter before other Ugandans are killed because Ugandans here could revenge,” the legislators warned. Evangelist Sued in U.S. for Inciting Anti-Gay Hatred in Uganda

By Charundi Panagoda and Jim Lobe WASHINGTON, Mar 14 (IPS) – A major U.S. civil rights group filed a federal lawsuit in Massachusetts Wednesday on behalf of a Ugandan gay rights organisation, the Sexual Minorities of Uganda (SMUG), against a right-wing evangelist leader for inciting hatred against homosexuals that has led to increased violence against LGBT persons in the East African country.
